Péniche Antipode
On the Bassin de la Villette

The Antipode is a barge that now carries theatre and music instead of heavy goods.
The first time we played there was a one-off show en français in October 2007 for the now defunct Parisian impro festival Impromania. We liked the Antipode so much - and got along so well with the crew - that it soon became a regular venue of ours.
There's a very nice little bar on board. It's open before and after the shows - and during the intermission of course! They have a great selection of beers
that you won't find in your regular café. For example the Bell' de Loing, brewed in the Loiret. It comes in four types: blonde, ambrée, brune and blanche.
The theatre has a capacity of 75-80 seats. We've managed to squeeze in about twenty people more.
For more information about the
Antipode and what else is going on there, go to the Antipode web site.
